The HSE have confirmed that the collection of unused medicines will commence at Pharmacies in April 2026. The DUMP Campaign (Dispose of Unused Medicines Properly) is a service for bringing unused or out-of-date medicines to participating pharmacies for safe disposal, reducing hazards in the home.
It should be noted the scheme will not cover sharps or flammable liquids. Further details will be made available here closer to the time.
