Upcycle Challenge FAQs
It’s simple really.
MyWaste are challenging you to unearth the imagination within and create something new out of something old…to breathe new life into an old or unwanted item or material.
So if you can find something old and renovate it or turn it into something completely different but still usable then we want to see it!
When entering please remember that we need to see the journey you’ve taken, be sure to submit some pictures of the before, during and after the transformation, make sure to let us know why you did what you did and we want to know what was your inspiration.
Source something old or unwanted – why not check out sites such adverts.ie for free unwanted items?
You need to take a ‘before’ photo of this item/s
We want to see and hear about the transformation so remember to take pics and keep a diary as you turn it into something new
You need to take an ‘after’ photo
Fill in the entry form.
We want to know about your journey, tell us why you picked the item and how you transformed it.
Each category won €750 in 2022
All entries will be judged and winners will be announced on the My Waste social media pages during the European Week for Waste Reduction, 21st to 27th of November 2022.
The Upcycle Challenge is brought to you by the three Regional Waste Management Offices
